Crew Management

Add New Crew Profile (Disclaimer/Info for Joining)


The International Maritime Organization's ISM Code requires most ship operators to have a certified Safety Management System (SMS) in place by 1998 or 2002, dependant on ship type.

The ISM Codes 6th element is about "Resources and Personnel". To comply with the Code there are certain systems that have to be on place. Partnership makes sure our customers comply with this rules and regulation laid down in ISM and STCW.

Partnership's Crew Management System, in co-operation with the crew agent affiliate world wide, take care of some or all of this aspects on behalf of the Shipowner, and in addition the following (options):

  • Internet is the Company's Intranet, with access to all necessarry data, included photo, about own crewmembers at all times. Documents crews qualifications, courses and training. All certificates, diplomas and other will be electronically presented for Shipowner through our system for viewing and printing (password protected on a secure server) on Internet.
  • Crew personal data updated at all times by Partnership or affilate crew agent.
  • Arrange courses, training and familiarization programs for ships crew.
  • Supplies Computer Based Training (CBT's) packages to be used onboard or at crew agency affiliates' office.
  • Option: Monthly allotment of crew by Partnership. Payroll program to be used onboard supplied by Partnership.
  • Travel arrangements according to sailing schedules.
  • Supply the crew with boiler suit, boots, gloves and thermo suit for wintertime use. See our Partnership-Store for details.
  • Option: We can performe one internal audit of the Shipowners SMS (in relation to "Resources and Personnel" - ISM Code Sect. 6) and suggest recommendations on how to adjust SMS to Partnership's Crew Management System. Partnership ISM experts will adjust customers SMS to comply accordingly.
  • Mandatory Crew Insurances.
  • We negotiating CBA with ITF on behalf of the Company (also local).
